Church Services Cancelled for March 2020

Due to the mandate from the state government prohibiting gatherings of more than 100 people, the decision was made to cancel all services for the rest of March at both the Five Oaks and Hillsborough Churches. All visits to nursing homes and care facilities are also restricted.

The NCDHHS and the CDC are both discouraging the gathering of large groups of people are due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Pastor Will will be preaching via livestream this Sabbath, March 28th, on our church Facebook and Instagram pages. The Facebook livestream will be available to watch here on our website as well on the homepage. Of course, you can also find other services and Adventist sermons and messages on Youtube and on Adventist channels such as 3ABN, Amazing Facts, and Hope Channel. Alternatively, it may be a wonderful opportunity to spend Sabbath outdoors with your family, away from the crowds and group-gatherings.

Here is a short but great message from our General Conference of SDAs president Elder Ted Wilson and 3ABN President Greg Morikone about coronavirus, encouraging us to stay calm and stable, putting our full faith and trust in God:

Have a blessed Sabbath and stay safe! Please keep everyone affected by the virus in your prayers!
